Recycling is important because that way we conserve the amount of raw materials instead of having to consume new materials. That way we avoid wasting materials such as plastic, paper and even electronics. It also saves energy because manufacturing recycled materials consumes less energy than new materials. Wasting energy is really unnecessary. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste. I’m planning to contact Bay Area Recycle, which is a company that focuses on recycling in the Bay Area. It is a local and family owned and operated business. I’m going to learn how I can improve recycling in my community or even our school campus. I hope they can give me some tips on improving our community or creating fundraisers.
